GCSU has partnered with Oak Hall to provide you with some of the finest caps and gowns, tassels, and hoods available.
In the effort to remain green on campus, all GCSU students will be wearing environmentally conscious GreenWeaver® regalia. This line of graduation wear is made of fabric spun from molten plastic pellets produced from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles.
Each day in the US more than 60 million plastic water bottles are thrown away. Most end up in landfills or incinerators, and millions litter America’s streets, parks, and waterways. With an average of 25 plastic bottles being used to produce your cap and gown; you are helping to ensure a cleaner, healthier future for our planet.

Use this online form to purchase your commencement regalia. Your order will be shipped to a home address you provide during the check-out process.
If you would prefer to purchase your regalia in person, please do not complete this form. Regalia will be available for purchase beginning March 31st, 2024, at our Barnes & Noble at GCSU Books and Brew location (Ina Dillard Russell Library, 221 N. Clarke St.), Monday-Thursday 9:00 am-2:00 pm and Friday 9:00 am-1:00 pm.
Undergraduate students who will be recognized at the commencement ceremony as potential Latin honors recipients will wear a blue collar stole instead of the green one that will automatically be shipped with your regalia. The Registrar’s Office will contact you by email in early March if you are eligible for this recognition and provide the information you need to exchange your green collar for a blue collar at the Barnes & Noble at GCSU Books and Brew location.
